It started with a typewriter.
I discovered my passion for writing at 13 years old. My first three screenplays were written on an old-fashioned typewriter — long before I had any idea where those stories would eventually take me.
I decided to
make the movie myself.
In 2010, along with my friend and lead actor Tom Broadwell, I decided to stop waiting for someone else to give me permission to make a movie.
I wrote it. I directed it. I financed it.
The result was Twisted Seduction, made for approximately $30,000.
Fantasia Film Festival
The film premiered at the 14th Annual Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal.
Streaming Audience
After its international rights were acquired by SnagFilms, Twisted Seduction went on to receive more than 40 million views.

Twisted Seduction became the platform’s most-viewed feature in a library of more than 2,000 films.
Still Streaming
Following SnagFilms’ closure, Twisted Seduction found a new home on Amazon Prime Video.
Then I tried
something even harder.
My second feature was Daddy Turned Into an Elf, a French Christmas comedy.
I financed, wrote, directed and co-produced the film with Haber Films and Aperture Entertainment.
The film eventually made its way into Quebec theatres through Les Cinémas Guzzo and later found streaming homes internationally.
But the production itself was anything but conventional.
Due to severe time constraints, only half of the original script could be filmed during a one-week production.
I had to find a way to turn what we had into a complete movie.
My films are not a reflection of my current skillset; they are a testament to my potential.
What do you wish film executives and the industry would realize?
The truth is, my journey into filmmaking is anything but ordinary.
When I made my first movie, I didn’t have the luxury of formal education in writing, directing or editing. I didn’t have a seasoned production team or a substantial budget to lean on.
All I had was a dream, a relentless determination to tell a story, and my own hard-earned money to invest.
And yet, against the odds, that first film found an audience far beyond what I could have expected.
The second film presented an entirely different set of obstacles. A compressed production schedule meant that only half of the original script could be filmed.
Imagine trying to create a coherent, compelling narrative with only half of the material you envisioned.
It felt impossible.
But I refused to let that stop me.
Through grit, creativity and belief in the story, I completed the movie.

Critics can look at my films and point out their flaws. I don’t deny that they exist.
But what I see when I look back at those films is something else: what was possible under extraordinary limitations.
Self-financed budgets. Extremely compressed schedules. Small teams. Primarily film students.
And still, I created films that reached audiences, found distribution and exceeded expectations in ways I never could have predicted.
If I’ve come this far with so little, I can only imagine what becomes possible when the resources finally match the ambition.
Still chasing
the next idea.
Since creating TS1 Productions in 2009, I’ve continued writing, developing and creating projects across film and entertainment.
It eventually led me to Dual Vision™ — a patent-pending entertainment technology designed around a fundamentally different relationship between the television and the phone.
The filmmaking journey that started with a typewriter eventually led me somewhere I never expected: inventing a new storytelling format.
I’m not finished. I’m just getting started.
